You won’t find better information or assistance any where. It’s people just like you & me who have done it & seen it all. It isn’t instant & you have to be persistent, but there are ways of asking creditors to remove bad items early. And best yet…it’s all free & they love to see you boost those FICO scores!

Just go there & read for a while. Don’t take my word for it… below is their "rebuilding your credit" section.

No, there is not way to remove legitimate negative items from your credit report. Credit repair companies are almost all scams.

They can't fix bad credit if it's your fault. If there are errors on your report they can help you fix them for a hefty price. You can also do this yourself for free.

i dont know about lexington. btu i used to work for a credit repair and they dont really help that much plus they charge u alot. best way is to do some research and to repaird your credit on your own.

After bankruptcy, or any type of bad credit history, in order to get your score to rebound, you need to re establish credit. Typically, this is done through a secured credit card. You would need $300 or more to put into an account with your bank (or whomever you get a secured card with) and that becomes your credit limit. Most of these cards will also have an annual fee, so if the fee is $49 a year, your limit on a $300 deposit will now be $251 since they will bill that fee to your card most likely.

I agree, if you need a card get a secured card. Most major banks offer them and a lot of credit unions as well. Obtain your credit reports in about 6 months and confirm that everything that you filled was included in your BKR. In 2 years no sooner, you will be able to perhaps finance a car or even a house if your income supports it. You will pay higher APR’s. As each year passes your BKR will count less against your score. There are companies that will not deal with you until the BKR is off your records which is 10 years.
